ph360 health coaching: How my discovery can improve your health

Decades ago, Pam was overweight and a two pack-a-day smoker. Then she turned her life around, got healthy, and became a personal trainer to help show others how they can do it too.

She knows how much hard work it takes to make that transformation, and she also knows that diet fads are not the way to do it. I am not a fan of diet and/or exercise fads. Some may work for some for a while, but most of the time they are impossible to maintain and not the right fit for your body!

People will go to great lengths to find the magic ‘fix’ to lose weight and improve their health, believing that things will work because ‘studies’ have shown. But those studies might only work for certain people, or in certain scenarios, and simply won’t work for everyone.

As a personalised ph360 health coach and a personal trainer, I know that there is no quick fix and what may work for one person, does not necessarily work for another. I also know that ‘health’ is not just about food and exercise – stress, relationships, lack of sleep and environment all play a vital role in determining how your body responds.

Everyone is different, and finding what works best for each individual person has always been trial and error. That is, until a well-respected personal trainer (a friend of mine who suffers from an autoimmune condition) introduced me to ‘personalised health’. What I saw as my weaknesses, I now see as my strengths! Restructuring my day has left me happier, less stressed and more energised.

Now, I can take what I have learned and help others accept who they are, make the most of their strengths, and learn how their weaknesses can even work in their favour.
